2016-2017 ADMISSIONS POLICY – NEW FAMILIES

St. Peters Catholic School does not discriminate in admitting students on the basis of sex, race, creed, or national origin. All Catholic Elementary and Diocesan High school s of the Phoenix Dioceses are open to students who sincerely seek a religious oriented education. However, enrollment preference may be given; admission is granted to students in the following order.

Kindergarten
(students must be five(5) years old prior to September 1st, 2016)

Siblings of children who are currently enrolled in grades K-8
Children from families who are members of the Catholic Community
Non-Catholics

Grades 1-8(students entering Grade One must be six(6) years of age on or prior to September 1st, 2016; Exceptions to this rule will be made by the principal in consultation with the teacher.)

Since class size is limited. St. Peter Indian Mission School has a waiting list for each grade. When an opening occurs, parents will be notified. All registrations are dated.

DOCUMENTATION

All new students must provide the following documentation with the St. Peter registration application to register for the 2016-2017 school year:

Certified original and copy of birth certificate
Certified original and copy of current immunization records
Copies of Sacramental records (Baptism, Reconciliation, First Eucharist, Conformation)*
Social Security card
Tribal Enrollment card or C.D.I.B.
Copy of the current report card

*Please provide these documents even if these Sacraments were celebrated at St Peter Catholic Church. The school is not on the parish database and does not have access to these records.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
